CHS Summer Soccer Training Programs

Updated July 8, 2022

Two skill-development programs are available this summer for Columbia High School boys soccer players.

Boys Soccer Summer Camp

This program will run daily from Aug. 8-11, 8:30am-12:30pm at Meadowland Park.

  • Trainers: Coach Muirhead and CHS coaching staff
  • Focus: Possession and dribbling skills, attacking and finishing skills, individual and team defensive skills, small and large-sided play and conditioning.
  • Cost: $185
  • Sign up here

Skill Development

Ball mastery, speed and agility, and positional training sessions with Sammy Adjei, an NCAA head coach and former professional soccer player. This program will run from July 11 to Aug. 11, twice a week on Mondays and Thursdays from 5:15-6:30pm.

  • Minimum commitment: 5 of 10 sessions
  • Cost: $300 for 10 sessions; $150 for minimum 5 sessions; each additional session $30.
  • Sign up here.

Two important notes. First, we don’t want anyone to miss out because of economic hardship. The Boosters will offer financial assistance to those in need. Second, these programs are purely optional and do not impact a player’s chance of making a team.

Thank you,
CHS Boys Booster Committee

“The Columbia High School Boys Soccer team entered their 2021 season ripped by the tragic loss of teammate Moussa Fofana, but the team honored Fofana’s memory by lifting their game to new heights.

Led by head coach Ryan Muirhead, the team finished with an 11-7 record, including winning the Super Essex Conference–Liberty Division championship with a 6-1 division record. As a result, the Cougars will be promoted to the SEC–American Division for next season — the top division in the conference — marking the second year in a row that CHS has been promoted within the conference…”
